Course Outline
Because we are always improving our curricula, this outline provides a general idea of the topics covered but is not a rigid lesson plan. Here are the outcome objectives:
Session 1: Privacy, Bodies and Puberty
Session 1: Privacy, Bodies and Puberty
- Students will learn puberty changes that happen for everyone
- Students will learn the difference between Private and Public
- Students will learn what changes occur during puberty
- Students will learn about genitals and penis parts inside and out
- Students will learn about hygiene
- Students will learn about genitals and vulva parts inside and out
- Students will learn how a pregnancy happens
- Students will learn that masturbation is a private activity
- Students will learn the difference between healthy and unhealthy relationships
- Students will learn that permission is important for touch
- Students will find a trusted adult to talk to about puberty and growing up

Session 2: People with a Penis and Changes
